I wanted to drop a quick ‘recipe’ in here for my favorite new protein shake. I use this mostly as post-workout recovery, but it’s also a delicious avenue to get some extra clean protein and fat into your diet. As noted, if you’re trying to stay in ketosis, the banana would get swapped for ice cubes. Or, if you’re not sure, try this Keto Calculator from our friends at Perfect Keto. For me (a currently non-keto guy), I really enjoy the consistency and flavor of the frozen banana and how it all comes together into a chocolate-banana-nut party.
Choco-Nut Butter Shake Recipe
1/2 Frozen Banana (for a thicker shake or less carbs, use ice cubes)
1 Cup Water and/or coconut milk (or equivalent)
1/2 Scoop Equip Complete Collagen
1 Scoop Equip Prime Protein Chocolate
1 Tbsp Perfect Keto Nut Butter
Blend together in your favorite apparatus! For simple jobs like this, mine is the Nutri Ninja Pro.
